@zrail@hachyderm.io ahh yeah Ive seen that before on some amlogic stuff.... Not sure what the perfect storm is there between, uboot, kernel, and OS that causes it. Sounds super frustrating.

@surfhosting@mastodon.pirateparty.be contributing back is always noble, but depending on the project it can be a significant ordeal getting through hoops etc. It's easy to burn a weekend on a fix that's just few lines of code..... Definitely not worthy of a shame spiral if you dont have the spare cognitive cycles to donate. Some people have big fuel tank for that and some don't.... And sometimes that tank just has a hole in it 🤠
Everything is crazy.
I'm so over this ice. I owe my dog a real walk on a non-icey surface. For an energetic dog, she's being a good sport about the whole thing.
