@BruceMirken@mas.to My Mom got sick in January 2020 in a senior facility in Seattle. Of course, it wasn't diagnosed as COVID 19 at the time, but in hindsight all of the symptoms were there. She got it a second time at a hospital where doctors and nurses weren't masking (assholes) in 2022. Her health declined rapidly after that second infection. She died of basically her body just shutting down, one system after another. She lived four years less than my smoking, drinking, born in 1911 Grandmother. COVID isn't on my mom's death certificate, but that's what killed her. #vaccinate #fuckmaha

Mostly a rhetorical question, we were built on white supremacy; looking at you Electoral College and Senate, but FFS people why are so many okay with con men, grifters, and narcissistic losers? I can't decide if it's the Republican war on education that's been going on since the 80's or hyper capitalism rotting our brains or is it because a society built on "The Individual" is doomed to fail?
