I'm pretty sure the results fade after a few days.

I'm no good at any of these but skeeball...
Fun fact: I proposed to my wife with a toy ring we won together with skeeball tickets!
Fun fact 2: My neighbor sold me his Star Trek and The Who Tommy pinball machines when he moved a few years ago. They're awesome.

My wife was in France several years ago and asked a man a basic question in French. He replied, with a very thick accent, "I don't speak American."

A lot of anti new housing people don't understand this. Wealthy people will absorb lowered priced housing if there is enough new supply.

Out here we can sleep in past noon on Sundays!
I did the opposite of you, moved west to east, and even after 20+ years I can't get used to football not starting first thing in the morning. Out here you can get a whole day of Sunday chores in before games even start!

East Coast sucks for baseball though. West games start at 10pm weeknights.
I didn't know Nevada was Pacific. Yeah, for sure should be Mountain!

Not gonna happen. They can't even get enough votes to block the budget bills.
Good tutorial on aluminum pole cutting, should you need it for any reason.

Yeah, I don't really care, just as long as it doesn't change.

I would love to spring forward and never go back! Sunset at 4:00pm in winter is the worst!

@Minski@kinkycats.org Exactly. That's what all the classic rock stations have turned into. That's not Classic Rock!

I grew up in AZ spending every summer in CA at the beach. Moved there for 5 years after college and maybe went 3 times.

The ethical questions are the biggest deal for me. I sometimes use Lumo to grammar check, but I can't bring myself to more heavily contribute to the planet's destruction.

People drive around our neighborhood every morning on trash days picking stuff up. Some for metal, some for second hand stores, etc. I rarely put something big with life still in it on the curb and have it last until the garbage guys got here.
"The EPA said if the power plants are not supplying electricity to the grid then they would not be subject to the federal Clean Air Act's Acid Rain Program, which has been key to the dramatic reduction of smog and soot pollution from industrial facilities."

Classic Rock has become meaningless. It used to define an era of rock, but now they just play "old". The one station in my area plays stuff like Madonna and Spin Doctors. Absurd.

It auto added you to the list I have you on also. Interesting. I don't think it usually does that
Replying to
@janerationx@social.lol I don't know about that, but it works fine and I've been using it for about a year or so.

Think about all the good we could have done with that money... It's really sad.

I do that now with Dodgers games! Growing up in AZ, we for some reason had Dodgers games on the radio, so I grew up doing it also.
I just backed this Kickstarter. The creator who made it also bought all the Little Thinker tapes and has been keeping it alive.
