thanks again @gourd@indieverse.social for the "pwyw" commission!
it's a lock screen wallpaper featuring a certain FFXIV character trying to unlock a tomestone -- I don't know if this is spoiler or not, I have yet to play Dawntrail..... haha

my website comes in light mode variant now, ...which I actually prefer?? am I a morning person all along?

Hey all, read the comic by me and Lazcht! It's really good!
I mean, I think it's really good. Some people have also told @lazcht@sakurajima.moe that it's really good and that they are waiting for chapter 2. I don't know why they told him and not me though. I guess he's just nicer and more approachable in general. Me? I'm more of the outwardly aloof hermit writer type, so I kinda get it, but I want to hear praises too... 👉👈

been fixated on puyo puyo lore lately. in particular, the part where they resolve conflicts through a puzzle battle. like I guess it makes about as much sense as solving conflicts through children trading card game duels, but so far there are no egyptian gods involved, and none of the magic systems seem to explain why there are puyos and how they became existential threats. they just somehow accept that challenging random passerby into puyo battles is just a socially acceptable thing to do.
working on a pwyw lockscreen wallpaper commission for @gourd@indieverse.social !
I hope I'm getting some scifi xp points for drawing that background :BlobCat_ThinkCool:

bookpeddling time
I'm at a temp pc and logged into my shiny new gmail that I made only for accepting commissions (currently empty inbox wink wink) and when I opened youtube with clean recs I got instantly transported to a different planet with this vid. now I just kind of want everyone to watch it and see if I'm not alone
Updating my commission price list to add cartoon style and comics! Solo figure art is also cheaper now.

there was this uncle guy from The Elusive Samurai (which is based on history) who is described as a "coward" at every chance, yet despite that he participated in every war and showed great leadership. at some point he got too old and sick to fight, so his princely nephew relieved him of all duties to which he broke down into tears of relief. it turns out he was actually veeeeery tired. he just wanted someone to validate his life and tells him he's done enough. I still think about it sometimes.
trying out protonmail.. I'm still not used with the name. it's too science-y. it's giving me Jimmy Neutron vibes
the only time I'm gonna admit being addicted to clicking an ad
bought a book
today I opened puyo puyo tetris thinking "it's about time I get a perfect clear" and I actually get it immediately what are the odds!?!? 😭

they were doing a $10 emergency comm so this was a one-take art. I didn't expect her eye to be center aligned :BlobCat_Laughing: but cyclops Myla is cute too 💕❤️
I'm late for it but holy wow !!!!!
sent Castella Tower comic files to the printer. I've now learned too much in too little time about book layouting, binding, and bleed :BlobCat_Exhausted:
but finally I can let myself rest a little. what's left is to hope the printers do a good job. and to work on a bonus website that the included bookmark's QR code points to 👀 (I guess I could include the printable/scannable bookmark in the digital version)
drafting for @lazcht@sakurajima.moe
fun fact: the old webcomic got abandoned before she could make it to the city. she's finally there 🥹
(thanks for thinking they are tasty :BlobCat_Amused:)yesterday's bread came out so perfect that the day cannot be ruined.
not today though. today is a brand new day.
