In the past year we had 2 solo exhibitions (the Netherlands and Japan) and participated in 2 group exhibitions (United States and China). Currently our work is shown again in another group exhibition, the Tokyo TDC exhibition at Ginza Graphic Gallery in Tokyo, briefly showing the holographic principles of the typeface Herby. Since a few years we’ve been designing and producing writing fonts, with the writing dynamics included in the font file. In case you want to know what is involved, watch our ATypI lecture. Eg: new terminology is required once type is designed in time, because how fast is a “default” speed and is there a unit to describe this?
