Law & Order: Biblioklepty and Libricide Unit
In the literary justice system there are two separate, but equally important groups. The librarians who curate the books, and the lawyers who go after abusers. These are their stories.
FX: Instead of the expected DUN-DUN sound, a large, hardbound book hitting a table is heard.
Cold open: The victim had been dog-eared, and someone used a yellow highlighter on a borrowed library copy...
Tea time advice:
Q: Should you pour tea into milk, or milk into tea?
A: No. No you shouldn't. Thanks for asking.
You know, when I was young and stupid I enjoyed the movie Brewster's Millions.
Now that I'm old and stupid, I realize that the movie was a pretty disturbing piece of fantasy apologia for accumulative excess, complete with a pithy, middle-class moral that justifies extreme wealth.
Now I want to remake the movie the way it should have been made in the first place: as a horror film, because done properly Brewster's Millions could be an exceptional piece of psychological horror.

@liklyhood@mastodon.social @Lana@beige.party Let me see if I read this correctly.
First you cite street cred via patent. Then you cite work experience from 20 years ago.
(Side note: neither of the above are supported, merely asserted.)
Then you cite popular fiction. From a quarter of a century ago.
Yes. Cogent and persuasive. Very well-argued. I'm certainly a convert now.
