Have been caught up lately, doing good things but alternately busy and tired, sometimes both.
Took these pics on the way to an appointment in town yesterday. The creek/stormwater drain level was lower than usual when i walked past (maybe a lower tide - it's close to the harbour), exposing a heap of oysters who'd decided urban life was for them. #NewcastleNSW #oysters
Want to help stop a massive coal mine expansion? Here's your chance - just put in a short submission objecting to the proposed expansion of the Hunter Valley Operations coal mine (HVO) by 2 August (so less than a week). Can just be a couple of sentences. Doesn't matter where you live - Australia or anywhere in the world - because climate change costs us all. #environment #climateChange #RisingTide #LockTheGate

I've just got home! Bliss!
Zack from Rising Tide is sailing with the Global Sumud Flotilla to deliver food and aid to Gaza. He's a good egg and he's been sticking up for the environment for years.
If you would like to donate to support him, the link is here. #RisingTide #Palestine #Gaza https://chuffed.org/project/169624-support-zack-schofield-sailing-with-the-flotilla
Day 12 after the surgery. Improving a little more each day.
Surgery incisions healing nicely but the area around is still too sensitive to wear anything that sits on the waist. T-shirt nighties for the win!
Continue to sleep on the powered recliner in the lounge room. Sleep segmented but supplemented with nanna naps.
Not clear to drive for a couple more days but not sure the body will be ready till the weekend.
Brother on his way up. Soon ready to go
Made a little zine with words from some of our protest chants in it.

Learning new terms through activism - carceral feminism. So interesting! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carceral_feminism
A friend made this informative and emotionally charged zine, inspired by Palestine. #freePalestine #Palestine #GlobalSumudFlotilla
