#monsterdon #wrongFrogs My favorite part of Wizard of Mars so far is the big tape drive they keep showing where the reels are unwinding tape onto the floor because that's what happens when they rotate like that

#monsterdon They did this time gimmick in the Gerry Anderson UFO cut-together-from-the-series movie, too, sweet!

Also is there a definitive guide on what happens when you touch a time-traveling version of yourself (non-lewd)? I've only ever seen it alluded to but it's always bad and this film just hung a lampshade on that

Before I wander off and pass out lemme just send a wrapup post for this week's #monsterdon Vincent Price 2fer: The Bat & The Fly- Thanks as always to our host @Taweret@timeloop.cafe for coming up with a great slate of October Movies, @miru@social.miyaku.media for hosting the streaming and double feature, @JoeWynne@mstdn.plus for the excelleng cocktail and trivia, and @LuciaG@wandering.shop for the Bingo!

We had so many sights to see this week:

• Agnes Moorehead IMO absolutely stealing the movie away from Vince, who did a great performance as well
• The horrors of neural network colorization on full display.
• We used the same neural network to fart out some subtitles.
• A LOT less fanfiction on this than I would have expected given some of the tension on screen
• A double feature featuring both a Brundlefly and a Flybrundle. I don't remember if the Cronenberg remake even had a flybrundle, The o.g. did though.
• Watch out for the Rabbit Bats, they bite!

Seriously though these two were both good movies. Laughed/Cried, better than cats etc...
