@seano@masto.nyc @warren@masto.nyc wow. I had no idea about this event, and am super interested. do you know what days you'd need? I'm free most of Friday and Sunday, Saturday is sadly a wash for me with venue work.

While this is indeed potentially compelling, I'm greatly concerned both by the massive generalizations made here about the typical use case for blind users, as well as leaning on the idea that this should be a fix for inaccessibility in things like government forms. Anything which is not the level playing field where we can access documents and crutial resources with full indipendence simply is not good enough and we should nto be expected to rely on a voice first interface.

@fastfinge A friend of mine has a similar problem he has both the Gmail and Yahoo version of his firstname.lastname. for this other similarly named person he's received sports tickets, divorce documents, onboarding docs and much more.

@seano@masto.nyc @warren@masto.nyc also unfortunately their schedule is surprisingly inaccessible to a screen reader user. I can manage it but none of the filtering or organization actually seem to work so it's literally just like going through all the days, and times and then finally getting to the events.
