Three good things for Saturday:
#CurbScores & #FreeCycle: #ceilingfan, which is making all the difference in summer.
#Epic dreams & #cinematic, #worldbuilding, hyperspatial #synaesthesia.
Hot weather urban #garden gleaning #salad: chard, nasturtium, purple #kale, snap peas, sorrel, pea shoots, parsley. Old pesto from freezer made w/CSA leftover garlic scapes & basil, sunflower seeds and olive oil. Dressing: Costco artichokes from back of my cabinet.
It's been an up&down kind of week, but #Friday delivered #moments that helped turn it around:
Woke up to a big #thunderstorm at 5am / caught up with a good #nap hearing gentle #rainfall toward evening.
It's been a #creative week in the #kitchen, clearing out random freezer #leftovers to make room for fresh #garden surplus.
And I spoke up about accommodations needed to better communicate with a #health provider.

Three good things for #Friday:
Feeling good about really being heard by people I count on to keep my life going.
Heard from a friend I haven't seen in ages, asking if we can meet up and talk about a geeky #materials topic.
#Garden is doing its thing, giving #raspberries and #poppies in abundance.

Pretty good #Saturday:
Didn't want to heat up the house so I made #suntea in a #masonjar on the patio. Didn't want to turn the oven on either, so I set my plate and the frozen meal out on the hot patio as well, covered. #SolarCooking!
Went to bed when I was tired instead of pushing to stay up later. Woke up #rested for a perfect #sunrise.
Repotted a bunch of #sorrel which is becoming a regular additive to my #fresh green salads.
Three good things for #Monday:
Getting the hang of pruning & fertilizing haskaps so that they produce sweet, fully-grown ripe #berries.
Past self, who froze extra barley & saved pesto made with garlic scapes & basil (both from the CSA box) & sunflower seeds in jars in the freezer 18 months ago. Added red beans, diced tomatoes, salsa & soft-boiled egg for a wholesome #breakfast.
Two full nights of restful #sleep - in a row!
One good thing to start the day in the wee hours, and I promise I'll have more to add in the #morning.
More in the morning, which will hopefully be a new day.

#threegoodthings from today:
Healthy #strawberry #seedlings taking root and beginning to mature.
#Haskap #berries are more abundant and riper after I pruned the bush at the end of winter.
Pre-made, pre-portioned frozen beans, rice and seasoning staples are awesome for a healthy brunch when I want something to go with fresh cut or frozen #vegetables, topped with salsa, curry or soup.

Productivity can be so many things: tidal ebbs and flows, flooding creeks & coursing rivers, steady seeps, cyclical incrementation and revision.
We need not let silly ideas about work get in the way of the work itself.

Glad to see Canada diversifying its supply partnerships for critical purchases:

Gently, deep breaths, into this summer...
Montreal JazzFest lineup is out. Was just hearing about Angine de Poitrine this weekend. Looks like a great lineup!

Oh hell no. Our sovereignty, our country, our dialogue. We don't need clickfarms in South Asia stirring up trouble here. Tell Zuck and the trolls to GTFO:
