Time-lapse process for Day 18: Deal. Lotta fiddling with this one. Wasn’t happy with the clown shoes at all until I fixed them near the very end. Really proud of Darth’s eyes, lots of time and attention there. We’re more than half way through now. It’ll be over before we know it! #Inktober #StarWars #RobotChicken #FediArt #HumanArt #LineaSketch

The main entrance to the #LucasMuseumOfNarrativeArt #LMNA is bright and open. And as you enter, the first thing you see are the amazing elevators that make you feel like a tube in an old-time bank. (Raise your hand if you have any idea what I'm talking about. 😀🤷) The elevators require staff to operate on every level, which was an interesting choice. The staff operated the elevators with tablets. #R2D2 was wandering around in the plaza when we first arrived. Loved his staff badge! #StarWars

#AfricanFilmPoster #GhanaFilmPoster In Ghana 🇬🇭 when posters can't be imported, local artists will bootleg them to the best of their abilities. Some often are more imaginative than the official studio releases. #StarWars: Ep IV - A New Hope (1977) A farmboy joins forces with various allies to save their galaxy from the evil Empire's planet-destroying battle station, while also rescuing the princess leading the rebellion against them.

*Of course* the nerds restoring original Star Wars from film to spite the special edition have spent over $16,000 of their own money buying reels, having them professionally cleaned, professionally digitised (scanned at 100MB per frame), and then on the storage needed to allow editing of such a huge amount of data. And of course that's going to be nothing compared to the amount of personal love and labour put into such a project. I'm kinda in awe, and I *love* that people do this. https://www.thestarwarstrilogy.com/project-4k80/ #StarWars #4k80 #4k77 #restoration #movies #film
